PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:
Raising Awareness About Tolerance
Shakespeare wrote a monologue 400 hundred years ago for The Book Of Sir Thomas More. It was a glaring critique of how minorities and immigrants were treated. This resulted in the play being banned by the Queen's censor. Shakespeare was making a plea for empathy and compassion for "the other".
WFP assembled 28 actors to recite the monologue and wants to remind us that America is great because of its diversity!
